The Mayo Clinic Historical Unit documents and supports the life of the Mayo Clinic through its collections, programs and services. The archives house a variety of documents, photographs, artifacts and audiovisual materials related to the history of Mayo Clinic. The film
collection consists of approximately 1300 films, including surgical and
medical procedures, educational films, dedication ceremonies, home movies and movies from special events.
